Shaniqua created Brown Media Mama in 2013 with the goal to amplify voices in her community. Though this quickly lead to many collaborations with more well known parenting and lifestyle companies that sought her audience engagement on their latest products and services.

A major career pivot in 2018 let Shaniqua down the corporate path while she focused on navigating raising her son. Now going back to her true passions in media her aim is to nurture the flames that feed her soul.
